Increase in MIQ costs for temporary visa holders - are you impacted?
Hi Neighbours,
MBIE has just announced that from 25 March 2021, MIQ costs for temporary entry visa class holders will increase from $3100 to $5520.
Temporary visa holders (including those on visitor visas, student visas, work visas and limited visas) who have already booked MIQ spots and are due to enter on/after 25 March will also be expected to pay by the new standards.

ANZAC Day time of reflection
The Waiuku ANZAC parade will be leaving outside St Andrew's Centre, 85 Queen Street on 25 April. Prior to the parade, St Andrew's will be open for a time of quiet reflection. A short multimedia presentation about ANZAC Day will be played. The presentation lasts roughly 15 minutes and will be on a loop from 9.45am, finishing at 10.30am before the parade leaves. You are welcome to join this at any point between those times. Just come into the auditorium (large meeting space to the left inside the doors) and sit anywhere.
