What does ANZAC day mean to you?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

ANZAC Day is a time to reflect, remember, and honour those who served.

It’s also a powerful reminder of the impact of war and the courage of those who stood for something greater than themselves.

We're interested to hear what ANZAC Day means to you and your whānau, and about any special traditions you follow each year.

Perhaps you have a loved one who served? If you feel comfortable, we’d love for you to share their story here with us.

Poll: Would you support reducing sick leave to five days?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As shared in an interview today, alongside other sick leave changes, Christopher Luxon said he is open to reducing sick leave from ten days to five days a year. This would reverse the change made by the last government which allows workers to have ten days off for sickness each year.
Would you be happy with this change?

Thank you very much for your kind hearts!

Rani Timoti from Helensville Citizens Advice Bureau

Our CAB Helensville volunteers are absolutely priceless. As we finish off this National Volunteer Week, we have had a time of food and gifts, including special surprises for those who have gained their five and 10 year accreditations with more to come. When our team is all back on track from holidays and illness we aim to celebrate with a mid-winter Christmas lunch next month. May everyone enjoy their Matariki weekend!
