Relay For Life North Canterbury Celebration Lap and Morning Tea
Relay for Life, Saturday 5th April at Kaiapoi Rugby Football Club will commence with an opening ceremony at 10am. This is followed by a special lap of honour for anyone who has a personal experience with cancer, no matter where they are on their cancer journey. After the lap of honour, all these participants are invited to join us for morning tea. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if itβs approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
