Hunt on for Upper Hutt wallaby population
Have you seen an unwanted Australian visitor in the Kaitoke Regional Park.
Biosecurity New Zealand’s director of readiness and response, John Walsh, said there had been three separate wallaby sightings reported in the vicinity of the park since late September.
Trail cameras detected wallabies in the area, and four dead wallabies – two males and two females – were recovered in November following a baiting operation
