AMI Community Grants - Application Maoribank School

Anne from Maymorn

I would like to apply for a grant to purchase security cameras to help with vandalism that the school experiences regularly when the school is closed. I have put all the relevant information in one document added below.

Have you changed your commuting habits?

Katie Townshend Reporter from Dominion Post

Driver shortages, power outages and timetable changes are affecting Wellington's public transport, while the roads are increasingly congested and slowed by roadworks. How are you dealing with commuter frustrations? Have you changed your commuting habits in the past year? (Please mark comments not for print NFP)

Maoribank Service Station

Sandra Alexander from Upper Hutt: Wider Community Connectivity

Following a request for a picture of the former Maoribank Service Station, I have several people to thank for their help and knowledge.
Unable to find any reference via the 'UH Library Recollections' site I sought the help from other 'history buffs'.
Thanks to Brian Pearce and Paul Lloyd-Jones, I am now able to share this photo.
Once on the corner of Fergusson Drive and Mangaroa Hill Road, it was demolished; (maybe) in the early 1970's, to link the motorway with Fergusson Drive.
Thanks to all those who commented to my earlier post to ease my search. The topic has been of much interest to many, so I attach a photo we think may have been taken around the 1950's.
Any other knowledge will be gratefully accepted.
Sandra
