Local Body Council Elections

Hugh from Timaru

The Voting Papers are sent out starting this Friday. There are a large number of candidates for the Timaru Ward. I am one of those candidates. I would value the opportunity to represent you as a Councillor for the Timaru District.

Visit my web site at hughperry.co.nz to see what I am able to offer Timaru Residents, if you Vote for Hugh. I am an experienced and trusted local lawyer with over 35 years residency with my Wife Margaret In Timaru. Our 2 daughters were brought up in Timaru. I have many years of honest reliable representation of residents, as clients. I have the skills to contribute a lot around the Council table. I want to see honest and open representation.

I have the skills to be able to achieve agreement and to work with others on Council. One council member on their own cannot do anything. As a lawyer I used to working with others and solving difficult situations. Please look at my web site and see what I have to offer you. I hope that you may choose me, as one of your 6 representatives of the Timaru Ward. I will be there for you. Please vote Hugh for you.

Say goodbye to tyre waste

Tyrewise

About 40% of the 6.5 million tyres Kiwis use every year are recycled, repurposed, or used as tyre-derived fuel. But the rest end up in landfills, stockpiled or dumped.

The good news is now there’s an easy solution to all that tyre waste. It’s called Tyrewise and is New Zealand’s first national tyre recycling scheme.

Tyrewise ensures that tyres in Aotearoa New Zealand are recycled or repurposed properly, saving millions from going to the landfill.

Find out more about the scheme online.
