Should FNDC be going legal over critical Facebook posts?

Far North District Council engaged Auckland lawyers to take action against the administrators of a Facebook page after a post criticised the council, and a manager, for poor treatment at a pound. Was this the best course of action for the council to take? What do you think it should have done? Are you worried if you are an administrator now?

Water restrictions spread: what do you think?

Paihia, Opua, Waitangi, Kawakawa and Moerewa are now on Level 4 water restrictions, joining Kaikohe, Ngawha and Kaitaia. This means water is used for essential use only and outdoor water use is banned. What do you think? How are you coping with the restrictions?
