What should we do about the coronavirus epidemic / pandemic ?

Jessica Brown from Citizens Advice Bureau Te Awamutu

We’ve been getting a few enquiries about the coronavirus. We recognise that news of the virus’s spread is causing concern to people and have put together some information, see the attached link.
This includes:
• steps to take to avoid infection,
• making a plan, in case you have to stay home for an extended period of time, and
• what to do if you may have had contact with someone with the virus and start to feel unwell.

You can also check for Ministry of Health updates on their website - please see attached MOH link.

Please note: at this time there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus in New Zealand. The Ministry of Health advise that it’s likely the virus will reach our shores but that the likelihood of a widespread outbreaks is low. The Ministry of Health will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
