Support worker wanted for Home help on rural property within 20 minutes to town or Greerton
We are looking for 1-2 female support worker ( Level 2+ or similar ideally) for immediate start to do home help, outings and other in or out door tasks which may come up on a lifestyle block just out of Tauranga. The hours we are seeking to cover are 8am to 11am with at times extended hours as need be, Mo- Fr. This is a contracted position as the lady here is covered under the National Serious Injury Services. Your key qualities are dependable, energetic and fit to get things done, honest and friendly with a kind disposition and being very respectful. Tauranga Curtain Bank
Keeping homes warm with appropriate curtains is essential to maintaining health and wellbeing. Our curtain bank volunteers use their skills to help people living in cold houses. We up-cycle old donated curtains and re-line them before distributing them.
We need volunteers who can sew, and volunteers who can help sort, measure, and pack orders. The curtain bank is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning from 9am to 12pm.
