Expert Knitter Needed
Hi All, my father is looking for someone who can knit him a pair of cable knit kilt hose, in black wool. the lovely lady that knitted his white ones, pictured below, was in her 90's and has sadly passed. He needs them to wear at his grandsons wedding at the end of the year. We've been able to find plain knitted socks online, but no one seems to do the cable knit ones any more.

Thank you to everyone who has responded. We have been quite overwhelmed with the response. We have heard from a local who has the skill and the pattern, who we have now asked to knit a new black pair for dad. Again, thank you all for your emails and offers of assistance.
