Twinkle with the Twins

Manu from Manu Thapar - Barfoot & Thompson

They say "Sometimes Miracles come in pairs". Here's one that has just touched the market only for you.

These two brick and tile twin houses are sitting together on a 696m2 land on the corner of Selwyn road. Both the houses are constructed of solid brick and both are replica of each other. These come with separate toilet and master bathroom complete with a garage and balcony, sun drenched all day long and is great for a first home buyer or an investor.

Zoned for residential-terrace housing, has a potential of adding some more to them (subject to council's approval).

The houses are conveniently located within proximity of New World, Train station just across the road and is just minutes' walk to Manurewa town, Manurewa leisure centre, Bowling club, lawn tennis club, bus stop and much more. You just need to see it to believe it.

Buy one or buy both. One compliments the other which could be an income potential for the buyer or investor.

Please see link to view 1/1 Selwyn Rd, Manurewa as follows:

Trucks Parking in Residential Streets

Greg from Takanini

How do people feel about truck and trailer units parking in our residential streets? Manuroa and Airfield Roads in Takanini are truck parks every night. This is a safety issue as trucks and buses cross onto the wrong side of the road to pass them. They also block sight lines for people leaving their properties and turning out of side streets. Parking beside reserves and playgrounds means children are stepping out from behind these vehicles to cross our busy streets. The empty flatbed trailer units are hard to see at night, especially in wet weather. There have been at least two accidents in Takanini, one fatal, involving cars hitting these trailers. The Takanini Residents Group have raised this with the Papakura Local Board and Auckland Council, but as these vehicles are legally parked, we are told there is nothing that can be done. I know this is a problem in other areas in South Auckland, so I would like to hear what people think about this issue.
