Opshop Burglary

Lara from Ngongotaha

Our lovely St Barnabas Opshop in Ngongotaha was burgled last night. We have always been (and will continue to be) there for our beautiful community. Our prices are amazingly low as part of our commitment to assisting those in need in our community. It breaks my heart to know that someone did this to our community Opshop. This is the second break-in we have had in less than two months. Last time they were not as prepared and left with very little. This time they stole our safe after tearing it from the wall – that is less money that we can put into our community now.
IF you hear anything or know anything about this burglary (night of Sept 7th) please contact the Rotorua police.
Thanks for your ongoing support.

We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
