Last month's Feilding Repair CAFE assessed 66 jobs - 28 of these have been repaired; thus lessening the waste that Manawatū District Council has to dispose of to landfill .....
This Saturday May 13 at 10am is the next Feilding Repair CAFE at the Caledonian Hall 55 Weld St - bring along an item for assessment and possible fixing and have a cuppa tea and some kai at the same time ...

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
