With the support of the Creative Communities Festival Fund, the Riverside Community invites you to a day of music, activities, stalls, and community connectedness.
This year's musical lineup includes the following:
Kabra Kadabra (Golden Bay) - Balkan/Gypsy/Folk
The Scintillators (Tasman/Nelson) - Infectious lo-fi funk
Itchy and Scratchy (Nelson) - Original indie music
Irie Vibes (Motueka) - Reggae/Dub
DJ Hester (Nelson) - Conscious upbeat tunes
Jason McIvor, Florian Pauls, Hila Koray, Sonar Sonic and more!
The Music Festival is located in the Community Oval in the heart of Riverside Community. The festival has a long-standing history of celebrating Peace and, as such, providing a heartfelt space that embraces diversity. As always, the community will hold a special space for our community's young folk.
The Food Factory will host a “Srummy Slices Program” for Year 7-8 students on Tuesday 16 April and Wednesday 17 April from 1pm-4.30pm at a price of $50 per student. The program is designed to give youth a taste of what it might be like to start a food business. The program is designed to give youth a taste of what it might be like to start a food business. Small groups will be given a Scummy Slice recipe without a name. They will follow the recipe to make the slice, invent a name for what they make, design packaging and present to a panel of judges. Guaranteed to be deliciously fun! Yesterday a woman pretended to pay for some plants from my plant stall in Lower Moutere.
Checking the lockbox afterwards we discovered no money and missing cyclamen and hebes. Security footage shows very clearly the woman, her car and rego and the pretend payment. Before I load the cctv footage onto the police website I'd like anyone who recognizes who this is to tell them I'm giving them a chance to put the money they owe into the lockbox.
