The nominations closes on Thursday 5 March 2020 – and the competition is hot across the country. Don’t forget...if your ‘business hero’ is a regional finalist, you BOTH get a $100 Prezzy® card. PLUS the national winner gets a raft of prizes including advertising packages and a cash prize of $2,500.
Nominate a business today and spread the word about your Prospa Local Business Hero.
A lovely friend of mine was about to discard her old sewing gear as she couldn't see a use for it. Please folks if you have any sewing or craft related stashes as a result of sorting cupboards and drawers please consider donating it to a local Op Shop or similar. Any queries please do not hesitate to PM me. I am currently making face masks and I know that some of the things ending up at the dump could be really useful to us sewers, quilters and crafters. Op Shops can't receive goods presently but that will end soon. Thank you neighbours and stay safe, kia kaha. (I have my fingers crossed that this does not appear twice).
We're going on a bear hunt! People across the country are popping bears in their windows. But what's the story behind the fuzzy faces? Tell us about your bear - what's their name, where did you get it, how far have they travelled? Post a photo and tell us their story! You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org if you've seen any bears in Christchurch you think we should cover. (Please mark any posts you don't want to see published NFP).
Just wondering if you all know during lockdown your recycle bins are being taken direct to landfill - I won't be putting my bin out until the recycle sorting centres are open again when level 4 is over.
