Would you contribute to Christchurch's new stadium?

Kendra Stone Reporter from Northern Outlook

The People's Choice group thinks ratepayers across the whole of Canterbury should pay for Christchurch's new stadium to relieve financial burden on the city's residents.

They say "It seems a basic matter of fairness that it should be spread a bit more widely than just the city ratepayers."

Are you happy to contribute to the stadium?

Canterbury's Andrew Bright has taken out the 2019 Plumbing World Young Plumber of the Year contest

Nicole Mathewson Reporter from Northern Outlook

After working at Plumbing World during his gap year, the 28-year-old has been with Warwick Kirwan Plumbing for six years and credits his boss for much of his success.

While he had not intended to make a career out of plumbing, Bright has no regrets and would love to encourage more young people to consider trades as an option while they are at school.

Congratulations Andrew!
