New locations of interest in Queenstown linked to Covid-19 outbreak
A Queenstown holiday park and a campervan company are the latest locations of interest linked to the Covid-19 outbreak as of early Tuesday.
Queenstown Top 10 Holiday Park in Arthurs Point was added to the Ministry of Health’s official list on Tuesday as relating to a close contact.
Those who visited the park between 12am and 11.45pm on January 9, 12am and 11.45pm on January 10, and 12am and 9.45pm on January 11 were being asked to self-isolate, test immediately and test again on day five after being exposed.
Further isolation and testing requirements would be provided by Public Health, the ministry said.
Britz Campervan Hire Queenstown in Frankton between 4pm and 4.15pm on January 11 was also added as a location of interest.
Those at the campervan company during this time were being asked to self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after being exposed and if symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until returning a negative test.
On Monday, Shotover Jet Queenstown, in Arthurs Point Rd, was also named as a location of interest for anyone there between 9.45am and 11.25am on January 11, as was Frankton Beach Playground, in Allan Cres, between 11am and 3pm on January 11.
