Poll: Should Lime scooters be allowed in Queenstown

Nicole Mathewson Reporter from Queenstown News

Lime e-scooters could get a six-month trial in Queenstown, despite being withdrawn from Auckland streets amid safety concerns.

District councillors will this week consider a restrictive memorandum of understanding to allow the company to operate in Queenstown on a trial basis.

The scooters would only be allowed to operate between 5am and 10pm and will need to be moved from streets by 11pm.

What do you think of the proposal? Tell us in the comments below.
