Do you (or a friend, neighbour or family member) sometimes struggle to cope with your laptop, PC, new phone or tablet? Did the Covid-19 lockdown throw up some unexpected IT challenges? Are you still nervous about signing up for Internet Banking? Maybe you've never done much computing and need to start with the basics? Or are you a regular user and just want to learn how to get the most out of your device?
We deal with these issues all the time at SeniorNet and our friendly tutors are always willing to go the extra mile to help. With a comprehensive program of courses and workshops coming up in Term 3 2020, now is the time to take action!
If you or someone you know could do with some IT help, please come along to Coastlands next Tuesday 21 July between 9am and 4pm; or
Visit the Learning Centre on Saturday 25 July (10am-2pm) at 200 Matai Road, Raumati Beach, and talk to one of our tutors about how SeniorNet Kapiti can help.
Captain John was recently adopted by a family. Here is what they had to say.
"To the wonderful people at SPCA. On Tuesday, Captain John came home with us to his new furever home. Safe to say he has adjusted well and is loving his new life. He has discovered the confines of the kid’s bed.
He is completely calm with three kids and two dogs. Thank you for looking after him until he came to us."
Hullo Neighbourly supporters, we are going to start accepting copy for our community papers, including the Kāpiti Observer.
Do you have news you want to share? We accept submissions from the community about local events and success stories. If your sports team or a local student or a volunteer has done something amazing, please tell us about it. Please keep it short and to the point, and remember to check all names.
Please send written contributions and publishable photos (High resolution JPegs) to firstname.lastname@example.org
