Does Kāpiti need a hospital?
In 2017, more than 22,000 people signed a petition calling for a community hospital here on the coast.
Supporters said our growing population and a likelihood we'll be cut off from Wellington in a natural disaster warranted the service.
The petition was presented to Parliament last year but garnered no results.

These products may be labelled under the YY Dumplings brand, the Fu Yuan brand, or both YY Dumplings brand and Fu Yuan brand. People with a gluten or sesame allergy or intolerance should not consume these products. If you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice. If you are not allergic or intolerant to gluten or sesame, this recall does not affect you.
