check out our really cool community project "Wharemauku - House of Ferns". This is a proposed new central park built around a restored Wharemauku Stream with wetlands and ponds for stormwater reticulation forming the basis of the park. Added is a new cultural centre telling the Kapiti Story and Whale Song, Mike Fullers amazing bronze sculpture of seven full size humpback whales. see the video which includes a virtual fly through of the proposed park.
