Lodging a Bond

The Team from Housing Advice Centre

Any bond a landlord takes from a tenant must be lodged with Tenancy Services within 23 working days of receiving the payment.
A bond cannot be more than 4 weeks rent, but it is totally okay not to charge a bond or charge less than 4 weeks.
Bonds can be lodged via the Tenancy Services website (you will need a PDF of the bond lodgement form) or via cheque mailed to Tenancy Services.

For more help contact the Housing Advice Centre 06 358 4875 or Tenancy Services 0800 TENANCY

Mike from Kelvin Grove

Hi all, we are looking for a 2-3-bedroom house with garage for myself, wife (both in our 60's) and adult daughter (20's). Two of us have special needs so we are looking preferably for a 1 level house in the Palmerston North locality. We have a good credit rating with no pets, and we are all non-smokers. We are looking for long term rentals
Thank you

I have heard there are more than 30 isolation/quarantine facilities around the country - is this true - obviously, they cannot properly manage these facilities !!! Hence a breach occurred!
