Fun at the festival
We Kiwis enjoy festivals and last Saturday's Mary Potter Hospice Strawberry Festival was no exception. We had beef melting in our mouths served with chips and sauce, bought more from the stalls that we intended to and thoroughly enjoyed the music. A few drops of drizzle have never put us off having a ball and in any case, according to the band, it was raining men! Yay! Of course, Kapiti Skips & Scaffolding supplied a skip bin to help keep the grounds clean and a good day was had by all. We trust Mary Potter Hospice received a whole chunk of funding to support the good work they're doing in the community.
Poll: Does the building consent process need to change?
We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
