Kia ora Neighbours, A contested decision by politicians on the Upper Harbour Local Board to mow down 8,000 native plants and young trees, could bring a hefty bill. Council staff reject that there was a mistake in the planting, and now there could be a big bill. What do you think ?

Pixies Animal Rescue - Big Yard & Garage Sale & Sausage Sizzle 28, 29 & 30 January - Dairy Flat

Pixies Animal Rescue will be having a big yard and garage sale and sausage sizzle on 28th, 29th, and 30th January with proceeds going towards food and ongoing vet bills for our cat colony. We have a huge selection of just about everything, including stock from our previous Op Shop. Except for a few collectibles, paintings, porcelain dolls, and antiques which will be priced at market price, nothing is over $5 !!!
EFTPOS is available.
Spend over $30 and get a ticket for a free sizzling sausage on bread (with or without a choice of sauces)
Friday 28th January evening 5pm to 8pm
Saturday 29th January 8am to 8pm
Sunday 30th January 9am to 5pm
Location: 385 Bawden Road, Dairy Flat
We are now able to take expressions of interest again for adoption of our rescue animals and viewing can be arranged (terms and conditions apply).
We will also have a team ready to take details from anyone needing help and advice for building shelters for their dogs.
We can discuss ongoing support for providing animal food for 2022.
The team can also help in providing food for needy families.
