Kia ora neighbours,

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced a $37 million recovery fund for Auckland businesses this morning, which will include 100,000 free vouchers to visit Auckland Council facilities, attractions, and venues.

The goal is to encourage Aucklanders to "rediscover the best of local businesses and visitor attractions" by visiting places like the zoo and museums, or attend summer events organised by community and cultural groups.

What business or attraction would you spend your voucher on this summer? Share your thoughts below and don't forget to type NFP if you don't want your comment featured in the conversations section of the Franklin County News.

They are both boys and are approx 5 months old. Lukan (the grey boy) is the more outgoing of the two, he is super smoochy and loves attention, he has a V12 engine on him and he’s a real entertainer. He would make a wonderful family pet. Depsis (pure black, and photo doesnt do him justice) is quite a bit more introverted than his brother, but while he is shy, once you gain his trust he will melt in your arms and is the biggest sook, he just loves a good cuddle. These boys arent directly under our care. A wonderful member of our community rescued them from her workplace at The steel mill, they had never experienced human contact before, but once trapped their foster mum has done an awesome job of teaching them about all the good things in life, like a warm bed, regular meals, and lots of cuddles and kisses. These boys have been desexed but not yet microchipped or vaccinated, however we will arrange for this to be done before they go off to their new homes. If you are interested in meeting these gorgeous boys please PM the page or contact Zoe on 0212500727 and i can put you in touch with their foster mum. 😻

Add milk pregnancy testing to your next herd test, it’s the convenient way to tell if your girls are expecting after 28 days – without them knowing.

But why stop there? Combining animal health checks to your herd test could uncover subclinical Staph aureus, Johnes disease, those who produce A2/A2 milk, as well as your herd’s production worth (PW) to help you make better calls.

Talk to your Agri Manager about adding pregnancy or animal health checks to your next herd test.
