Decent tree work with good service
Yesterday we had some tree work done - branches hanging over our gutters needed to be removed. I made contact with Abel who had a marketplace ad www.facebook.com... He arrived with a team of 3 others, they worked professionally and cleaned up and removed the cuttings afterwards. If anyone is looking for someone to do tree work I can recommend them.

A hundred-year-old church and gravestones from the 1880s will also feature as the district turns the spotlight on its past for its first Heritage Day on April 20.
Tauranga Curtain Bank
Keeping homes warm with appropriate curtains is essential to maintaining health and wellbeing. Our curtain bank volunteers use their skills to help people living in cold houses. We up-cycle old donated curtains and re-line them before distributing them.
We need volunteers who can sew, and volunteers who can help sort, measure, and pack orders. The curtain bank is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning from 9am to 12pm.

An affordable rental development has been left scrambling to secure funding after it was unexpectly turned down by central government.
Bridge Housing Trust plans to build a 42 apartment complex on the corner of Tristram and Liverpool Streets in Hamilton central over two buildings. The land is being donated by Perry Group, which currently owns both sites.
