UPDATE FOUND Stolen from Fitzroy Shops Electric Bike, Specialized HardRock
UPDATE! FOUND!
Just received a call from the friendly police in Bell Block, they found the bike dumped in Bell Block and I am collecting it today!
Thanks everyone for your great interest.Stolen from Fitzroy Shops last night (Wed 27 May) between 5pm and 8.30pm, my teenage sons Specialized HardRock Electric Bike.
Pretty gutted as my son rides this bike from Spotswood to Fitzroy several times a week to his part time job at the shops.
Was chained to the blue railing shown in the 2nd Pic, chain was cut.
First pic is of a spare non electric bike with same frame. Electric bike has thinner road tyres.
Bike has custom battery pack made by myself from scavenged old laptop batteries, and custom charger also built by myself, so the new "owner" will not be able to charge it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

HOUSING CRISIS FORUM, THURSDAY 18th APRIL
That's Tomorrow!!!
Don't forget to go along to the forum and hear what the NPDC and (hopefully) our government are planning for this area.
We still have people living in emergency housing in New Plymouth!!
Every day more and more people are living in their cars and living rough. Not because they want to, but because housing/power/food/life has become so expensive they can no longer afford to rent or get their own home.
What is to be done? Come along to the NPDC Debating Chamber at 9.30am and see if we can get some answers
