Hi Everyone! I am running for council in New Plymouth in this year's local elections. I wanted to ask for feedback from the community about what you want to see more or less of in our city! Do you have any suggestions for shaping the city in the coming years? What's going well that you would like to see more of? I'm keen to hear all about it! Please share your comments below :) I might not have any of the answers at this stage but I'm curious to hear what topics people are interested in. Thank you!
The final countdown has begun! We are just 11 days away from knowing who has taken out the top spot in My School Rules.
Your vote counts. During August, every time you spend $20 at Centre City, you can claim a voting token. Cast your vote at the voting station outside the Management Office and help your school get a share of the $10,000 cash prize.
Perhaps the council could consider signs at park entrances before spraying herbicides in future. The spray operators wear masks, but people and dogs can't, and the areas could be avoided if they were alerted. Today large areas were sprayed, there was a strong odour, and roundup could be a carcinogen. Please, council? What do others think?
I have a great new family home coming to market, close to Frankley and Woodleigh schools and handy to FDMC. 3 bed plus study, large conservatory and outdoor patio areas for entertaining. All in a quiet cul de sac off the very popular Frankley Road. Buyers in the $400,000's encouraged to view. If you have missed out before, don't miss this one. More info very soon.
