Strike for climate New Plymouth

Sarah from Strandon

Strike for Climate - is a global strike taking place tomorrow (Friday 27th September). I have been looking for information regarding the New Plymouth Strike (location, timing etc.) and would appreciate any guidance thrown my way with regards to this.

If you are interested, here is the web link:
www.schoolstrike4climatenz.com...

It says School Strike, but that's just because it was a student initiated movement. Anyone and everyone are encouraged to take part!

"To recognise the significant threat climate change poses to all our futures, livelihoods and very existence we are calling on all New Zealanders to join us and stand in solidarity on 27th September for urgent action on the climate crisis. Student strikers are encouraged to bring their parents along to the strike and the general population are invited to get involved."

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.

We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.
