Which information is correct.

Maree from Merrilands

The following was posted on Stuff Taranaki today:
People are allowed to drive only to access essential services and exercise around their neighbourhood, but they should not be going for joy rides to the beach, parks or walking away from where they live to "have a look around".

This was from Mark Mitchell MP:
The updated advice is that you are able to use a vehicle to access a local park or beach if you are unable to get there by foot or bicycle. It must be very local and not to be abused for across town type travel. Please remember to strictly apply the social distancing rules and use common sense.

Very mixed messages I think. Who do you believe???

Blanton Smith Reporter from Taranaki Daily News

Call us biased but we think there's no better place in New Zealand to visit this long weekend than Taranaki. We want to chat to someone who is travelling here for the weekend. If this is you please get in touch with your contact details via email at taranakinewsdesk@stuff.co.nz

RATES Increase

Glenis from Spotswood

In today's paper Sth Taranaki D.C. have decided on o% increase. Their Mayor basically said it was a no-brainer. Pity ours didn't have commonsense in the forefront of their brains. Just saying.
