We have an elderly friend in his 80s who has just moved into a retirement home, and prefers to drink his tea from a very large china cup. The one he is using has a crack around the base, which looks like it will let go very soon, and is very old. It has 'Father' on it, so was probably made as giftware. We only need a cup, no saucer required, but his preference is for it to be china, as it is finer walled, not pottery. Can anyone help please, as it would help him settle in to have a cup he can trust. It needs to hold approx 300-400ml - an absolute giant! Reasonable price or free please, as we will gift it to him.
We will be at the A & P Show on Saturday and Sunday to answer any questions you have about the dam, TDC's "funding model" and water supply generally. We don't have the resources to counter TDC's over-the-top advertisements on the subject, so come along and have a chat. Look out for us on site 67
Hi. I'm a home owner in Stoke with 2 sweet shy female cats. I'm going away in February and need a reliable, experienced house and cat sitter from 4-25 February 2018.
I have placed an advert on the Kiwi House Sitters website.
I'd prefer finding someone local whom I and the cats could meet a couple of times beforehand.
Any recommendations will be gratefully received.
