PROOF. Vaccination reduces severe illness (the vaxxed can spread COVID, but are less likely to get really sick themselves)

Jan from The Wood

Yes it’s true, people who have been vaccinated can spread COVID, and over time the vaccinated have an increasing chance of a mild illness when exposed to COVID, but protection against a severe illness declines slowly, ( as it does in tetanus vaccines for example). This is why booster shots are being offered.
New Zealand / The World has not been able to stamp out the transmission of COVID, so the next best things are to try and not catch it (isolate, wear your mask, etc) and/or reduce the severity of the illness.
Vaccination reduces the individuals chance of getting really sick.
