My Resene Upcycling Award entry
This is my labour of love upcycled sun damaged mahogany buffet dresser. Painted with Resene products, transfers, stencils, hand pour resin moulds, waxes and gold leaf. I called this piece Xiulan which means elegant orchid. This vintage piece was exactly made in Japan, found this out after I'd already decided on a theme from markings on a drawer.
