Library Resources

Kerry from Papamoa Beach

Hello neighbours
There has never been a better time to turn to e-books than now. Tauranga library can give you access to its huge collection of ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and lots of other great online resources for both children and adults. Not a library member? Not a problem. Sign up online as a digital member, no proof of identity or address required for this type of membership. Go to Tauranga City Libraries website then go to ABOUT US across the top and a list will drop down, choose MEMBERSHIPS. From here a digital option will be displayed, complete this and then you are good to go. Happy Reading/learning 📚
I can offer support if required (remotely of course)

Glass sorting at the kerb is back!

Communications from Tauranga City Council

Throughout the Covid-19 response, we’ve been able to continue collecting and recycling glass. However hand-sorting wasn’t possible. Now that it’s safe again, our team can go back to hand-sorting glass into different colours at the kerb.

To be able to recycle as much glass as possible it's super important that you:
• Rinse your bottles and jars and remove lids
• Recycle glass bottles and jars used for food and drink only
• Don’t overfill your crate or add broken glass
• Only use the official blue crates provided
• And put your crate out at 7.30 on your collection day

For more information on glass recycling, visit www.tauranga.govt.nz...
