Happy Festive Season!

Melanie from

Dress for Success Masterton would like to thank the wonderful community of Wairarapa for all the support and generous donations given to us over 2018.

I have been in the role of the Hub Co-ordinator since March this year and in that short time have met many truly amazing, generous and inspiring people. It has been an absolute pleasure being able to work with and support the women of our community and I look forward to meeting more of you ladies out there during 2019.

The end of the year is fast approaching - Dress for Success Masterton will be closed for 2018 from Thursday 20 December re-opening for 2019 on Thursday 10 January.

If you know of a woman in our community that could benefit from our service, please tell her to make contact.

Our Dressing programme is for women who have an upcoming job interview, are in training or education, or actively seeking employment (and yes volunteer work counts!).
We hold a range of clothing suitable for all types of interviews in all sizes ranging from 6-26.
One of our lovely volunteer stylists will work with the client to find the perfect outfit which the client can then keep, completely free of charge.

For information about a referral to Dress for Success or details on where to donate please contact our Masterton Hub:

Have you see the decorations in Greytown for The Festival of Christmas

Masterton & Martinborough i-SITE Visitor Centres

It's neat to see lots of visitors and locals enjoying the decorated buildings and shop windows and the light shows in Greytown. Each night at 5.15pm the light shows start on four of the lovely old buildings. Cobblestones have fun crafts and games on each Saturday, there are street performers, a treasure hunt along the Main St and yummy Christmas food on offer too. Check out the website for the full programme.

Ask an expert: get answers to your DIY questions

Jo Haywood Reporter from Homed

Hey neighbours, have you had a DIY disaster you need to fix or are you keen to tackle some home improvements but don't know where to start? Well, help is at hand.

Send us your questions about your DIY or decorating dilemmas, including photos if you can, and we'll ask an expert for their advice on where to start with your project, any tips and tricks they can share to help you get a great finish - or how you can fix things up if they've already gone wrong! Click here to submit your questions, or email us at homed@stuff.co.nz.
