4 bedroom house available to rent in central Motueka.

Matt from Motueka

Hi Neighbours.
We have a 4 bedroom house becoming available to rent very soon.
Situated on High St 3-4 mins walk to Motueka CBD.
Recently renovated, can be made available furnished or unfurnished. 4 generous sized bedrooms one of which contains built in solid timber bunk beds.
Large bathroom with two showers and two toilets.
Ceiling insulation recently upgraded to significantly exceed healthy homes standards requirements.
Hot water is from a continuous flow gas califont and showers are fitted with efficiency shower heads and waste heat recovery devices (this means very low hot water bills)
New heat pump to be installed in living area shortly.
Viewing will be by appointment, message me if you are interested.
For the right tenant a lease as long as you want, you won't be getting evicted for AirBNB in summer like some dirt bag landlords like to do.
Sorry there are only two photos, Neighbourly won't let me add any more.

Do you pick up rubbish on the street?

Amy Ridout Reporter from The Nelson Mail

West Coaster Des Watson is on a one-man mission to clean up New Zealand. Last week, he visited Tasman and Nelson, collecting as much as 80kg of rubbish a day.

Is he alone? Or are there other rubbish renegades out there? Do you ever take a bag with you and pick up discarded bottles, cans and plastic when you're out and about?

Dog owners beware of the picnic tables at Isel

Helena from Stoke

Happy family parties in the park mean food that is toxic to dogs is often dropped and not cleaned up. This can be costly and distressing for dogs and their owners if their dog finds such food first.
Please remind people that the food they find yummy may kill someone’s pet.
Responsible dog owners clean up after their dog. Responsible people clean up after their parties.
