Hi Selwyn neighbours - are you keen to try an electric scooter?

Hundreds of electric scooters will soon be on the streets of Selwyn – but not until at least December.

But first a change to the Selwyn District Council's traffic bylaws has to be approved, which will allow scooters to be used and parked on footpaths.

The council says the six-month trial will include Rolleston, Prebbleton and Lincoln, with scooters to get between towns using cycleways.
