Northland mother-of-three Veronique Theberge is trying to raise awareness of the potentially fatal brain swelling condition encephalitis, after it left her with an acquired brain injury - turning her life upside-down with symptoms including fatigue, lack of concentration, slowed speech, hypersensitivity to noise and short-term memory loss. Did you know viruses, including Covid-19, can cause encephalitis and these symptoms?
