'Low lives' steal thousands worth of stock from Canterbury motorcycle store
A Canterbury motorcycle store owner is fuming after thousands of dollars worth of stock was stolen from his shop.
Canterbury Honda owner Ted Marris said the “low lives” responsible for the break-in knew what they were doing and what they wanted to take.
The two alleged burglars smashed through the shop’s front door on Main North Rd, Woodend, about 3.45am on Thursday, and made a quick getaway with several expensive items, Marris said.
A red and white Honda CRF250RX motorcross bike, Thor brand helmets, a Honda generator, Honda weedeater and Thor brand clothing were among the items stolen.

Kiwirail land rental
We pay KiwiRail a rental fee for the lease of a strip of land alongside the railway line. We use the land for vegetable gardening. However we have just received a letter doubling the rental fee plus a charge to draw up the new lease. Has anyone else been effected by this? KiwiRail do nothing with the land on the other side of the fence and the grass grows lank.
