West Coaster Des Watson is on a one-man mission to clean up New Zealand. Last week, he visited Tasman and Nelson, collecting as much as 80kg of rubbish a day.

To celebrate World Car Free day, all bus trips, including the $4 late-bus service will be free for all passengers this weekend!
Nelson City Council said this initiative is about "finding ways to take individual action to reduce emissions", and Car Free Day "speaks for itself".
