Help us fill hungry tummies around Aotearoa

Julia de Ruiter from The Salvation Army NZ

With chilly days and nights just around the corner, winter is a really tough time for some of our most vulnerable New Zealanders. Through these colder months, we see a consistently high demand for food assistance which stretches supplies and resources in our foodbank hubs.

You can help by donating a Winter Bundle today. We've teamed up with Countdown to select a range of useful items that we know our foodbanks need.

Help us fill hungry tummies around the country today. Donate online or pop a food donation into the specially marked purple bins in Countdown stores throughout June.

House to rent on Marine Parade

Duncan from Havelock North

check this out!!!!!
This is a double storied adjoined house that has been fully renovated on the inside with sea views. There is a modern kitchen with new appliances. Off the kitchen is the lounge with a heat pump. The bathroom is upstairs with a shower and a toilet. There is one bedroom on the ground floor and two upstairs. The house is close to the beach and central Napier shops, bars and restaurants.

HE'S HOME NOW YAY! Not a scratch on him, completely dry, but hungry. Thanks everyone for your support. xx

Hi Neighbours,
My tabby Ragnar (Rags) hasn't been home since 4.30pm Saturday afternoon 12/10. Hopefully he's just got shut in someone's garage or shed, so could you please open up your garage door, and check your shed and around your property so he can come home?

He has a notch out of the very top of his right ear, he's frightfully good looking, about 6kg (yes, loves his food!), a neutered male and is microchipped. I live in Lovat Street, so hopefully he's somewhere close.

Please call me if you find him - 0272908778.

Many thanks, Karen and the rest of the family.
