Forest & Bird Local Branch Meeting & Guest Speaker
For our next branch meeting our guest speaker will be Des Ratima Deputy Chair of Biodiversity Hawkes Bay, whose topic will be ‘Kaitiakitanga v Ownership':
In the world of te taiao it is the responsibility to te taiao that is important, not the exploitation of te taiao. Having sustainable practices and mutual reciprocity between the requirements of man v the needs of Te Taiao. This is an inherent requirement of a kaitiaki.
