DEPORABLE ATTACK ON POLICE OFFICER RIGHT OUTSIDE BRIDGE STREET POLICE STATION

Lianne from Glenview

What have we become, and why is this sort of violent behaviour happening in our community? One of those who special people who work so very hard to protect us and keep us safe and sound 24x7 has been attacked ... right outside Bridge Street Police Station! See: www.stuff.co.nz...

I hope the Judge who hears this case will 'throw the book' at the offender. We simply cannot sit back and keep quiet while our officers of the law are suffering this way.

My best wishes to go this victim officer and his/her family members.

Police call for neighbourly calm

Nicola Brennan-Tupara Reporter from Hamilton Press

Hi Neighbours,
The police are urging those with concerns or problems with their neighbours through the lockdown to report them using the 105 number.
The call comes after five people were arrested after a recent neighbourhood brawl in Hamilton street which involved a large group of people, with one showing symptoms of coronavirus.
A knife, shovel, hockey stick and baseball bat were reported to have been used in the fight.

England Police

Dianne from Hamilton East

Lets all keep the police in England in our minds and hearts as they struggle trying to protect their fellow human beings; they have been abused physically and verbally and now have to contend with being spit at, deliberately.
I pray that they keep safe and continue to do their job at this trying time
