Help reduce social isolation...

Heather Moore from Volunteering Waikato

We have a wide range of people in the community looking for a companion, someone to spend some time with, have a coffee, go for a walk, to the movies - or just hang out at home. Make a new friend and help to reduce social isolation in our community - this role has huge mutual benefit...

If you are interested in finding out more about a companion role, check out role type COMPANIONSHIP on our website - www.volunteeringwaikato.org.nz...... or give us a call on 07 839 3191.

New World promotion

Rosemary from Nawton

I consider that the latest New World promotion for FREE glasses is a rort. Promotional info is all over their stores and in their weekly flyers but none of these glasses are FREE. In order to get a glass you have to spend money instore and according to how much you spend, you get a voucher. When you have enough vouchers you can get a glass and if you get enough vouchers (i.e. spend heaps of money) you could get a full set. These are not FREE glasses, you have to pay for them. It's yet another scam to avoid.
