Painting tips: Tired kitchen cupboards brought to life

Adam from Adam's Painting

You don't need to spend thousands to update your old kitchen cupboards. With the right paint and a few careful moves with the paintbrush, it's possible to transform those tired cupboards to look almost new. Last week, a lovely family in Fairfield were wanting to do up their place ready for sale. They were expecting to employ a builder to completely rebuild their kitchen, until I explained they only needed to pay the painter at a fraction of the cost! These cupboards (see 'before and after' pics below) were painted white to freshen up their kitchen. My clients were thrilled! If you'd like to see how I can transform your kitchen cupboards, or any rooms in your house or business, please let me know! (See previous posts for further tips)

What's your favourite piece of Waikato history?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Car parks inspired a milking shed design that took off around the world and became a piece of Waikato District history.

A hundred-year-old church and gravestones from the 1880s will also feature as the district turns the spotlight on its past for its first Heritage Day on April 20.

Bridge Housing Trust plans to build a 42 apartment complex on the corner of Tristram and Liverpool Streets in Hamilton central over two buildings. The land is being donated by Perry Group, which currently owns both sites.
