Hi Neighbours, could you imagine cows floating down the Waikato River?
These cows are floating on Europe's largest port, in another effort to make cattle farming more sustainable. The owners call it the world's first 'floating farm'. It's in Rotterdam and they want it to minimize waste and land use, and also bring food production closer to the city.

Every year I try and raise money in November and December to send to a charity. This year I have chosen Kids Can.
Would anyone on here be interested in a fundraising raffle?
All proceeds will go to kids can. I have already been selling all my extra household items on $1 reserve pages to help raise funds, and have raised over $150 for the cause. Each dollar I raise, I am matching to donate to kids can. They do wonderful work, and I am so proud to be able to assist
For when you can't be there, I can! Day visits great for when you're on holiday or your work day is too long. Ph Brenda 0274392464
Too often we think that picking up litter is someone else’s job - but collecting rubbish is such a simple way we can help our community, the environment and our own health and wellbeing.
This is why Resene is proud to sponsor the “Walk & Collect Weekend” on December 7 and 8. Take a walk over the weekend and collect a bag of rubbish in your community - it's simple but with a collective effort can make a big difference.
It's free to participate and there are prizes to be won - including a $200 Resene Gift Card! Simply head to their event page and register your interest.
