Help keep the lights on this winter

Julia de Ruiter from The Salvation Army NZ

Imagine having to sit in the dark on a cold night, wrapped in a blanket for warmth because you couldn’t afford heating or power?

Sadly, this is a reality for many Kiwi families living in poverty at the moment, as they struggle through a cold winter without even the basics to survive. They are often forced to choose between providing food, warmth and shelter for their family, knowing the profound impact that going without even one of these things will have on their health and well-being.

Please support this ‘Lights On’ Winter Appeal and help keep families safe, warm and sheltered this winter.

Mass transit network

Jamie Neighbourly Lead from Chartwell

A potential vision of a future Hamilton and surrounding towns, incorporating rail as a key feature of our public transport network, primarily using existing tracks.

Also, this week Ministry of Transport signed off on completing a business case for rapid rail between Ham and Akld (around one hour from CBD to CBD), to be completed in April 2020.
