L’Oréal New Zealand provided 22,000 care packages for Kiwis in need

Julia de Ruiter from The Salvation Army NZ

We want to say a massive thank you to the amazing team at L’Oréal New Zealand who rolled up their sleeves this week to pack 22,000 wellbeing packages for New Zealanders in need!

The wellbeing packs include everyday essentials like shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser, along with selected beauty items.

Part of L’Oréal’s 10th annual Citizen Day, the L’Oréal New Zealand team devoted a full day of work time, taking over the Vodafone Events Centre on 26 June, for a day of volunteering to support individuals and families in need. Auckland Mayor Phil Goff visited and met the team who prepared the 22,000 wellbeing packs.

Thanks again L’Oréal New Zealand!

Mass transit network

Jamie Neighbourly Lead from Chartwell

A potential vision of a future Hamilton and surrounding towns, incorporating rail as a key feature of our public transport network, primarily using existing tracks.

Also, this week Ministry of Transport signed off on completing a business case for rapid rail between Ham and Akld (around one hour from CBD to CBD), to be completed in April 2020.

Margaret from Fairview Downs

My husband has box of old recipe books and newspaper articles from around 1940. Does anyone know of any group that may be interested. Seems shame to trash this history. Free to good home,

Painting Job.

Lyn from Fairfield

I'm looking for someone with painting experience who can finish off window and door surrounds on four rooms. I have the paint and the brushes, so it is a labor only (cash) job.
Some painting experience necessary.
