Lemon thieves sent packing!!!! Turns to SHIT!!!!!!

Brendon from Fairfield

Hello neighbours. I live on Tranmere road. Last Saturday, 12th Jan, at approximately 12am two teenage boys came onto my property. Probably looking to steal my lemons. They had a torch with them and I heard the word lemon. I was sitting on my front steps and they didn't see me. I'm pretty sure the younger one shit himself. I chased them off. Im not putting up with thieves or arsehole teens. If they had have asked for some lemons at a more reasonable time of the day I would have said yes.
Last night they came back, 13th Jan at 12:30am. Roughly the same time as the night befor. I'm thinking one of them is a shift worker or they have the ability to leave the house at that time. This time they pelted my house with my lemons and threw a fresh bag of human shit through an open window. One of them has shit in a bag and carried it to my house to exact revenge for their failed lemon raid. They aren't smart children. I dint give chase because I had a child asleep at the time. I saw them cross Tranmere by Armitage Place and then they disappeared down a driveway on the left towards the Heaphy Terrace end. They're local.
I have filed a Police report but I'm not holding my breath waiting for results. If any of you know of any annoying teens who live between 37 and 49 Tranmere Road could you please tell them the next time they come onto my property and throw shit around I'll be waiting. If they're your children or you know them you need to talk to them befor I do.

Do you think the city needs more affordable housing projects?

The Team Reporter from Hamilton Press

An affordable rental development has been left scrambling to secure funding after it was unexpectly turned down by central government.

Bridge Housing Trust plans to build a 42 apartment complex on the corner of Tristram and Liverpool Streets in Hamilton central over two buildings. The land is being donated by Perry Group, which currently owns both sites.

You can help grow the Waikato Community Rugby Fund

The Team from Momentum Waikato

Waikato Rugby celebrated 100 years of service to the community in 2021, but due to the pandemic the long-planned celebrations were not held until late 2022.

A highlight was a black-tie event at GloBox Arena at Claudelands where over 300 people enjoyed a wonderful night of reminiscence, remembrance, reconnection and reflection on what our national game means to the Waikato.

Many people put a lot of work into making the evening a massive success by all sorts of measures. One was fundraising $21,000 for the good of the game through auctions and donations, which has recently been transferred to the Waikato Community Rugby Fund at Momentum Waikato.

The Fund grows in perpetuity, with distributed returns only used for the benefit of the amateur community rugby, forever.

Donations to the Waikato Community Rugby Fund are always most welcome, to find out more and donate click the button below.
