Rose Campion

Pat from Riverlea

Unforgettable in full bloom, Rose Campion is known for its abundant hot-pink flowers. This plant quickly establishes an attractive clump of grey foliage, in spring it bursts forth with tall stems with glowing magenta flowers that float above the foliage. It has a long season of interest flowering from spring through until late summer. It is easy to grow and trouble free, in short, it is the perfect plant!

It is grown as much for its foliage as its flowers and the foliage provides interest in the winter garden whilst not flowering. It is an excellent choice for dry gardens as does like to have good drainage and it is of course right at home in the cottage garden as it will self sow and pop up around your garden as it self-sows. The fact that it likes a dry spot means it is an excellent choice of plant in our climate as things become a lot drier.

Plant is in 1.9 litre pot.

Plant grows from division, so flowers are already formed as you may see from a photo.

Old, worn out, battered wheelbarrow wanted

Dianne from Hamilton East

Has anyone got an old, rickety wheelbarrow full of holes that is lurking in the dark realms of your estate?
If so, I would dearly love to buy it off you.
